JASMAR is a human security national Non –Governmental Organization (NGO) that was founded in November 2001 and registered with the Humanitarian Aid Commission (HAC) in Sudan. JASMAR has almost 17 years working experience in the Humanitarian fields. JASMAR establishment was a response to the Explosive Remnant of War (ERW) and mines threats on one hand and it was encouraged by the global campaign against landmines on the other hand. JASMAR is governed by a thirty member General Assembly and it has Board of Trustees. JASMAR headquarter is based in Khartoum and it has State offices in North & South Kordofan, Blue Nile, Kassala and Darfur States. JASMAR is run by 96 full time staff. JASMAR is guided by an article of association spelled out in operation rules, regulations and Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs).
