CAAMI monitors implementation, coordination, and management of mine action activities. CAAMI is collecting and analyzing mine/UXO-related information so that it can be used in developing an integrated and coordinated response to humanitarian mine action. CAAMI facilitates effective operational coordination between relevant national authorities, United Nations agencies, and nongovernmental partners.
