This publication identifies and promotes good practice in the safe storage of ammunition, and contributes to international efforts to address this important issue. It complements a previous report issued by the GICHD in 2002, Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) - Undesired Explosive Events in Ammunition Storage Areas. It is intended to provide guidance in a complex area.
