The GICHD was pleased to welcome today 25 participants to the 6th course on Results based management peacebuilding, security and development. This annual course is held in conjunction with GICHD partners at the Maison de la paix, the Geneva Centre for Security Policy, the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces, and Small Arms Survey

This is a five-day workshop that provides a unique opportunity for practitioners (donors, internationals and nationals) working in the field to be introduced to programme results-based management, design, and monitoring and evaluation skills. This intensive training tackles programme cycle planning, theories of change, results-based approaches as well as the practical implementation of monitoring and evaluation processes using simulations and field based case studies.
