In partnership with the National Army of Republic of Moldova, our Eastern Europe Caucasus and Central Asia Regional Cooperation Programme (EECCA RCP) organized the first Regional Workshop on Ammunition Stockpile Management in Chisinau, Moldova on March 19-23 2018.
The workshops covered topics related to best methods for identifying obsolete ammunition in countries affected by explosive remnants of war (ERW) and the conditions of ammunition storage and transportation.
In attendance were representatives from 8 countries. These countries were Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Moldova, Tajikistan, and Ukraine. The regional training course is funded by the Swiss Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sports.
