From 9-12 June, participants are meeting for the first Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia (EECCA) Regional Workshop to discuss mine action challenges and future opportunities for cooperation in the region. Thirty-five participants from 11 countries that use Russian as an official and/or a de-facto working language, and international organisations active in the region are participating. This four-day workshop is taking place in Minsk, Belarus, and it has been organised by the GICHD in partnership with the Republic of Belarus.
