"Demining is much more than clearing fields" | Swiss Federal Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs visits the GICHD

A demonstration of common types of mines, presentations on a few of the GICHD's current projects and a discussion on increased synergies at the Maison de la paix were just some of the highlights of the visit of Swiss Federal Councillor and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ignazio Cassis, to GICHD offices on Thursday 12 April.

 

"Demining is much more than clearing fields", he commented, "it's a question of allowing development and hope for the future."
