For three days this week in Vientiane, LAO PDR, an Information Stakeholders workshop is being held in coordination with the GICHD, the National Regulatory Authority for UXO/Mine Action Sector in Lao PDR (NRA) and the Norwegian People's Association (NPA). The project is funded by DFID.
This workshop aims to increase understanding of information management and the land release methodology. It will also bridge current communication gaps between operations and information management groups. Participants at this workshop include representatives from NRA as well as operators such as UXO Lao, NPA, HI, HALO and MAG.
