On 7th July, the Chief of the Austrian Armed Forces, General Commenda, the Chief of the German Armed Forces, General Wieker, and Deputy Chief of the Swiss Armed Forces, General Schellenberg paid a formal visit to the GICHD and its sister organisations: Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP) and the Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF).
During the visit, the different army heads received presentations about each of the centres’ activities, challenges and future plans. The visit symbolized the strong military cooperation between the three countries and reinforced their support for the GICHD, GCSP and DCAF.
