Our virtual reality experience, Home After War, took home 4 Social Media Impact Awards: Best VR Experience, Best Sound, Creative Advocacy Jury Prize and Journalistic Achievement Jury Prize last week.

The annual Social Media Impact Awards (SIMA) celebrates the best impact filmmaking from around the world that inspires activism, compassion and social transformation. Each year, films are selected from over 140 countries, competing for awards, cash prizes, media features, and entry into SIMA’s international distribution channels.

Together with NowHere Media and Oculus #VRforGood programme, we are honored to have won and will continue to use this project to shed more light on how improvised explosive devices are impacting the lives of people in Iraq.
