"IED threat a major humanitarian challenge" | GICHD statement to the Meeting of High Contracting Parties to the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons, Amended Protocol II

The 2015 Meeting of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons (CCW) is being held in Geneva this week. On Wednesday, November 11, the meeting for Amended Protocol II to the CCW was held. The GICHD stated during this meeting that "the increase in the number of civilian casualties has turned the IEDs threat into a major humanitarian challenged."
