The Fourth Intersessional Meeting of the CCM, organised by the interim Implementation Support Unit at UNDP and with support from the GICHD, is taking place at the World Meteorological Organisation building in Geneva, from 7 to 9 April 2014.
At this informal meeting, States parties to the CCM and other stakeholders (signatories, observer states and representatives from international organisations and civil society) discuss progress made and challenges related to the implementation of obligations arising from the CCM. The intersessional meetings are also devoted to the preparation for the Fifth Meeting of States Parties, which will take place in San Jose, Costa Rica, from 2 to 5 September 2014. As of 7 April 2014, a total of 113 states have joined the Convention, as 84 States parties and 29 Signatories.
