An IMSMA Administrator Level 1 (A1) Regional Training was conducted by the GICHD at the Training Centre for Humanitarian Demining (CEDH) in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 18-29 May. The course, supported by the III Operations Headquarters of Joint Staff of the Argentine Armed Forces, was based on the latest IMSMA version 6 and it was carried out in Spanish for the first time. It was conducted by GICHD staff and two assistants from the national Chilean Commission for Humanitarian Demining (CNAD) and the Chilean army. Twenty-three participants from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru attended the training and shared their experiences from the region.
