The Ammunition Management Advisory Team (AMAT) of Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) is searching for a consultant with experience in the fields of disarmament and international law to support implementation of the European Union Council Decision (CFSP) 2020/979. The consultant will provide legal expert advice on aspects related to the development of internationally recognised Arms and Ammunition Management Validation System (AAMVS), critical elements of its framework and legal standards for engaging broad international support for the system.
