The GICHD seeks an experienced consultant to conduct a study and review of the IMAS 08.40 chapter.
The objectives of the study will be to capture and document challenges and good practices in the implementation of marking and exclusion of populations from hazardous areas to precisely assess the effectiveness of IMAS 08.40.
The consultant will have a lead role in the development of a methodology to remotely collect information and experience from affected countries both from the National Mine Action Authorities and the mine action organisations.
