The GICHD conducted a one-day Technical Working Group meeting focusing on Technical Survey - current methodologies and possibilities for enhancement - in Sarajevo, BiH on 16th December 2020.
Focus was given on the results of the General Assessment of Mine Suspected Areas in BiH and the establishment of a new database for BHMAC. Discussions were also conducted regarding the existing legislation, planning, and to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations.
The Technical Working Group meeting was organised in close cooperation with the Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Center (BHMAC) and supported by the Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office Germany).
The meeting was held in accordance with all current COVID-19 prevention measurements.
