This past February, the Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF) and the GICHD organised a panel of practitioner experts from security sector reform (SSR), disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration (DDR), small arms and light weapons (SALW) control, and mine action to examine the practical implications of linking these programmes.

Now, a joint report summarises the issues discussed during the event. During the event, three SSR Papers on the linkages between SSR and DDR, SSR and mine action and SSR and SALW were also released.
