At our GICHD offices, we had the honor of welcoming Swiss State Secretary, Pascale Baeriswyl on Tuesday 8 May.
During her visit, she met with our staff and was briefed on key issues in mine action. Some of the highlights of the visit was a presentation on explosive devices, insights on IMSMA core, an overview of the Strategies and Standards division, how GICHD supports International Humanitarian Law and introductions to the The Convention of Cluster Munitions and the Anti-Personnel Mine Ban Convention from their respective Implementation Support Units.
