From 06-10 September 2021, The Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) conducted a Regional Technical Survey Course at Norwegian People's Aid Global Training Centre in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The aim of the course was to provide clear definitions and guidance on what is considered a good practice and in line with the International Mine Action Standards. It also offered an opportunity for participants from various operational contexts to come together and share experiences.

We would like to thank our friends and colleagues from Bosnia and Herzegovina Mine Action Center (BHMAC), Croatian Mine Action Center (CROMAC), Serbian Mine Action Center (SMAC), Mines Advisory Group (MAG), Norwegian People`s Aid (NPA) and Millennium Team for their excellent participation.

This training course was made possible thanks to the support from Switzerland.

A special thanks to Norwegian People's Aid Global Training Centre and their super mine detection dogs!
