The Arab Regional Cooperation Programme (ARCP) in collaboration with the Gender and Mine Action Programme (GMAP) concluded the ARCP Remote Gender Equality and Inclusion course.
For the past five months, participants attended sessions, contributed to group discussions, shared their experiences and good practice in addition to working with each other on various group and individual assignments throughout the course.
A total of five women and six men from five countries and nine different institutions (national authorities and operators) completed the course.
Participants will use the skills and knowledge gained from this course to further mainstream gender and diversity in their programmes and countries in all mine action activities.
This training course was made possible thanks to funds from Finland, the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA, and Auswärtiges Amt - The German Federal Foreign Office (GFFO).
