The Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) has completed a 3-week mission in coordination with Acción Integral Contra Minas Antipersonal (AICMA) in Colombia.
During the mission, several field visits and more than 60 interviews were conducted with key national stakeholders, civil society, and all the accredited mine action operators in the country.
The mission is part of the GICHD project aimed to conduct a case study analyzing the contributions of mine action to sustainable development in Colombia.
The GICHD would like to thank all the partners that contributed to this process and the Government of Ireland for its kind support for this project.
