Since late 2016, the GICHD have been collaborating with the Zimbabwe Mine Action Centre, along with the Mines Advisory Group, The HALO Trust, the International Committee of the Red Cross, Norwegian People's Aid and APOPO to draft the country's first ever Strategic Plan.
On Friday, 9 March, the official launch took place in Harare. The GICHD delivered a statement at this event, which was attended by the guest of honour, Vice-President Dr. Constatino Chiwenga.
