Britta Tepoorten joined the GICHD in April 2019. As the Human Resources Operations Officer, she is responsible for the day-to-day operations in relation to employment legislation, regulations and employee life cycle. She acts as human resources business partner for managers and is the focal point for staff members. She is also a member of the internal Gender & Diversity Working Group, promoting gender and diversity inclusion.

Prior to joining the GICHD, Britta worked as Human Resource Generalist and Human Resources Business Partner in the private sector for Swiss and international companies active in the FMCG and financial industries. She holds the Swiss Federal Diploma in Human Resources.

Britta Tepoorten is Swiss. She was born and educated in Lugano, Switzerland.
