Strategies, Performance and Impact

Eleni Alexandrou currently works as the Results-Based Management (RBM) Coordinator. She is designing, refining, and coordinating the GICHD’s RBM system as a means of driving continual improvement across the organisation in support of the wider explosive ordnance risk reduction sector. To ensure the system’s efficient implementation at the Centre, Eleni is also providing support and training to GICHD staff on RBM.

Eleni initially joined the GICHD in February 2019. Prior to that, she supported the management of the Leadership, Crisis and Conflict Management program and coordinated courses on the topics of counter-terrorism and security in Thailand and Georgia for the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP). Previously, she had represented the Permanent Missions of Greece and the United Kingdom at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UN-HRC) as a human rights expert before joining the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as research consultant.

She holds a BA in Political Science and an LL.M in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the University of Essex, United Kingdom.
