External relations, policy & cooperation programme

Laura Collier joined the GICHD in January 2022 as the Communications Manager, providing strategic oversight and guidance to reach key stakeholders in explosive ordnance risk reduction, as well as broader humanitarian, security and development fields.

Laura Collier brings over a decade of communications and engagement experience in human rights and sustainable development, working closely with United Nations agencies, NGOs and the private sector. She has worked to create spaces for collaboration and support meaningful participation from individuals and communities at national and international levels.   

Laura Collier holds a MA in Global Communications and Civil Society Development from the American University of Paris and a BA in Classics from Georgetown University.
