Standards and Operations

Namrita Singh joined the GICHD in September 2019. As programme officer, she works closely with the Head of Division, the Deputy Head and the Advisors to support the substantive, financial and administrative aspects of their work. She participates in project management and contributes to project design, research, resource mobilization, donor reporting as well as field visits and training workshops in mine-affected countries. Namrita Singh previously served as a Junior Programme Officer for one year.

Prior to joining the GICHD, Namrita Singh completed internship placements with CARE International and Action for Development under the United Nations Economic and Security Council in Geneva as well as with BRICS International Forum and the Government of India.

Namrita Singh holds an MA in International Relations majoring in Conflict and Security studies from the Graduate Institute, Geneva. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Women’s and Gender Studies and a BA in Economics (Honors) from the University of Delhi.
