External relations, policy & cooperation programme

Tamara Kloos joined the GICHD in February 2022 as a Communication Officer. Her main responsibilities at the GICHD include supporting the implementation of the overall GICHD Communication Strategy with a focus on the coordination of the production of publications and the development of corporate style guidance. She also supports the coordination of public events and conferences.

Prior to joining the GICHD, Tamara Kloos worked as a Development & Outreach Officer at Human Rights Watch and as research assistant at the International Centre for Peace and Human Rights. She also completed an internship at the International Service for Human Rights in Geneva.

Tamara Kloos holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the University of Geneva and a Master’s degree in Law and Politics of International Security (LLM) from Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam.
