Aim

This e-learning course is meant for anyone interested in learning about identifying the sustainable development impact of mine action and integrating it into programmes and strategies.

What you will learn?

The course strengthens participants’ capacity to:

  • explain basics of global agendas, particularly the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
  • identify the long-term contributions of mine action to global issues such as sustainable development.
  • articulate these contributions through global agendas, particularly using the 2030 Agenda.
  • integrate mine action and sustainable development by increasing coherence between mine action and global agendas.

Language level requirements

Learners should be able to read and listen in the language of the course. The following standards of proficiency in English should be met (as described in STANAG 6001).

  • Speaking: not required
  • Reading: fair | 2
  • Writing: not required
