EORE Resources

This handout summarises stakeholder awareness and use of eleven key resources relevant for explosive ordnance risk education (EORE). It is divided into four sections: standards, technical resources, policy and advocacy resources, and other resources.

A desk review to identify current and emerging good practices in measuring the effectiveness and impact of EORE.

This article describes the barrier analysis approach as it was implemented in Mosul, Iraq, by The HALO Trust and Al Ghad League for Women and Child Care. It begins with a discussion of what a barrier analysis is and the theories of behaviour that underlie the approach.

Published in 2019, a rapid assessment to better understand the current status of EORE capacities and implementation, as well as challenges facing the sector.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, over 70 percent of the planned activities for 2020 were achieved in full or in part, and an additional 8 percent were initiated.

This advocacy strategy aims to maximise members' individual and collective capacity to increase awareness of EORE with stakeholder decision-makers and donors.
