SMART (Space and airborne Mined Area Reduction Tools) is a project funded by the European Union for humanitarian demining. The main objective is to provide the end-user like the Croatian Mine Action Center (CROMAC) with tools for improving level 1 minefield surveys in South Eastern Europe. The methodology to achieve this is the use of multisensor airborne measurements to find indicators for mine suspected areas, minefields and uncontaminated areas.
