Due to COVID-19, we continue to adjust our way of working and last week we held, the first of its kind and entirely online, a Quality Management Course in cooperation with ARMAC.
In attendance were 21 participants from 6 ASEAN countries representing national mine action authorities, NGOs and operators. We discussed how to improve and enhance quality management processes through increased efficiency and effectiveness.
The course included lessons on:
- on key quality management principles
- quality assurance & quality control
- mechanical demining operations
- quality management and accreditation
- testing and evaluation of mine action staff and equipment.
The training was funded by the Auswärtiges Amt (Federal Foreign Office Germany)
