Tamara Pamela García joined the GICHD in June 2023. As a Conference, Travel and Administration Assistant she supports the international conferences organized by the GICHD, takes care of the venue logistics, travel arrangements and accommodation of the sponsored participants. She also provides travel services and general administrative support to the GICHD staff.

Before joining the GICHD, Tamara García spent nearly 9 years in the Transportation and Logistics industry. She began her career as an Invoicing Specialist and later worked as a Shipping Coordinator. She also gained experience as an Operations Associate in the nonprofit sector in Geneva, where she supported event organizations and logistics.

Tamara García completed her studies in Spain, earning a Master's degree in Advertising and Public Relations. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism.

Originally from Equatorial Guinea, Tamara is fluent in Spanish (her mother tongue), English, and French.
